Sweet and sour meatballs

This recipe came via a friend of mine who serves it at her annual Christmas party to rave reviews. It's crazy easy.

Servings: 16+
  • one box of frozen meatballs (there are 64 meatballs in the variety we use)
  • one jar of blackcurrent jam (a can of cranberry sauce works well too)
  • one jar of chili sauce


  1. Bake meatballs according to package instructions.
  2. While the meatballs are baking, make the sauce by combining the jam and the chili sauce in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  3. When the meatballs are done, place them in a slow-cooker on low. Pour heated sauce over the meatballs. Wait an hour or so before you dig in!
